Ep0059: Shift + Arrow Keys to Highlight Text

As you may know, I love timesaving keyboard tips, so here's one I use a lot for selecting text. Just hold the shift key down and tap the right or left arrow keys to select text around the cursor (you need to start with your cursor somewhere in the text, of course). You can also hold down the Control key on Windows or the Alt key on Mac to select word by word. And you can combine other keys with the shift key to select larger blocks of text, like using the up and down arrows and home and end keys - give it a try! 15secTech-0059-KeyboardShiftArrow-Jeff-Jeff MacArthur
